The community of ORISTANO consists on average of four Sisters. It is an international community whose main apostolate is to welcome and care for women in old age, still autonomous or semi-autonomous. The Spirit that animates the Sisters is love for the Lord, who makes himself present in the fragile people who entrust themselves to their care. The style of service is that of Mary who, with great delicacy, sensitivity and human affection, becomes close to her elderly relative Elizabeth. The guests share most of the days of the Sisters, especially the times of prayer in which they actively participate. The house is frequented daily by the relatives of the guests and occasionally by groups of young people from the parish. The community atmosphere is characterized by domestic simplicity and joy.
