Currently the mission in the community of the Servants of the Visitation in Borongan continues to live and work with young sisters. Today there is an international community composed of seven Sisters. The mission complex has been structurally expanded and the Magnificat house also welcomes disabled children; function with the authorization and recognition of the Government, as a Foundation: “Sister Servants or f the Visitation Foundation Inc.”. The life of the community is characterized by a wonderful integration between activity and prayer. The field of apostolate also extends to the reception of groups for periods of retreat or cultural formation, youth work, visits to families in difficulty who are on the territory of the island, visits to prisoners in the regional prison of Borongan, liturgical animation and pastoral work in the church of Katian ……. In all these activities the sisters are supported by young sympathizers of the Charism of the Visitation, who have formed the group “OLVYO”, Our Lady of Visitation Youth Organization. The Custodians of the Visitation are also very active, a lay group of people who live the Mystery of the Visitation in their ordinary lives.
